Winners of these competitions received prizes. On 15th Sept’23: On occasion of Hindi Diwas Chief Guest was invited from Western Cold fields Ltd (WCL), Chandrapur Mr. Nilabh Kumar who delivered a speech on importance of Hindi language in office use and day-to day use.

01st Sept. to 15 Sept’23: CRMCH celebrated the very first Hindi Pakhwada in the institute. The Team conducted various programs during this period like Quiz competition, Essay writing competition, Hindi literature reading, talent show, Hindi translation, Antakshari (Hindi song singing) etc. All staff of center participated in this event.

CME

National Science Day a CME was arranged by ICMR-CRMCH on Sickle Cell Disease-Diagnosis and Management. On 28th February 2023

ICMR-CRMCH staff actively conducts Journal club activity as a part of academic activity once in a week and discuss the scientific topics.

A team of medical doctor, social scientist, social workers, and laboratory technicians goes and visits the colleges to conduct Sickle cell awareness camp at various venues to spread awareness on the disease in the city. Information is given about sickle cell disease and counselling is done

Field visits are being conducted regularly as part ongoing multicenter project in various villages viz. Bhamaragarh, Aheri, Lok Biradari Prakalp Hospital,Hemalkasa Dhanora, Kurkheda, Chamorshi, from Gadchiroli district, Brahmapuri from Chandrapur.

16th February 2023: All staff attended Dr. H. M. Bhatia Memorial Oration- 2023 on virtual platform by Dr. Shubhada Chiplunkar Former Director, Advanced Centre of Treatment Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Mumbai on Topic "Harnessing the potential of Gamma Delta T cells for Cancer Immunotherapy" in presence of Chief Guest Dr. Sanjay Mehendale Director research, PD Hinduja National Hospital & Medical research Centre, Mumbai, held at ICMR-NIIH, Mumbai.

Pediatrician Dr. Dipty Jain (Former HOD of Depart. Pediatrics, GMC, Nagpur) visited CRMCH and checked sickle cell disease children.

Dr. Anand Bodade (Scientist E-Medical) attended the 3rd Induction training to new Scientists on Research Methodology, Bio-Statistical techniques, Health Data Management and its analysis, using Statistical Software by ICMR-NIMS. 6th February 2023 to 10th February, 2023

Institute celebrated its very first 74th Republic Day of India on 26th January 2023. The ceremony took place in ICMR-CRMCH, Chandrapur campus. Flag was unfurled by senior scientist of Institute followed by National anthem. All staff of institute attended the event. A small cultural event was conducted where patriotic songs were sung by staff followed by refreshments.

Eminent Medical Researcher: Dr. Abhay Bang, Founder of Society for Education, Action and Research in Community Health (SEARCH), which is involved in rural health service and research at Gadchiroli; had visited the new institute On 20th January 2023.
